@drshazmamithani I had a stroke 23 months ago. I had a CT scan, MRI, ECG, ambulance ride. That was just the first 3 days- plus a hospital stay. Then AHS covered neurological rehab. Then AHS covered diagnostics to find out why. Then AHS covered heart procedure to close a PFO (hole from birth for those non-med people). I was 49. I was already behind because I’m self-employed. I’d for sure be in financial despair if not for tax-paid AHS. I pay for medications myself now.
