@pandemoniumcrutch because I'm not LGTBIQ2÷, you assume that I'm not affected by reading that a shooting has killed 5 and wounded 18 Human Being?
With all due respect you should know that not all the world is used to the level of violence that you're used to in the US and that a content warning is nothing else than respect for people of many horizon that could be triggered by this kind of information and need to get prepared to read it.
