@WestCoastBirder I've been watching this wonderful series on YouTube by New England Forests. I just started one on Beaver Pond Wildlife. I think your son would enjoy it as it's a lot about birds in the New England woods and the photography is excellent.

@WestCoastBirder The whole series by New England Forests is just marvelous. I think I'm on my fifth one. Much of the information in the two on reading the New England forests would be applicable anywhere I think.

@WestCoastBirder Last one ... are you familiar with Doug Tallamy? Prof of Entomology & Wildlife Ecology at U of Delaware, really GREAT speaker. This is a link to a free Zoom lecture by him. I've seen this lecture in person, made me want to sit up and cheer!
