micah@LiberalTalkingPoints the telling thing is how many folks who self-identify as liberals can’t find any other option between “ignore fascism” and “blindly amplify whatever the facsists do, allowing them to control the agenda of what gets discusssed”. Imagine if you could picture progressives affirmatively defining and leading the agenda by talking about what we’re fighting *for*, not what we’re fighting against.
Ashton@anildash @LiberalTalkingPoints which is incredibly frustrating, because the talking points almost write themselves! “We want you to be able to go to the hospital and not go broke” and “Losing a job shouldn’t feel like a life and death catastrophe”. These are simple concepts, but very few on the left are willing go for it!

MSM and GOP attempted to determine the sole talking points were the GOPs and that abortion and democracy were at the back of the line. But that did not work. And as icing on the cake they ended up blinding themselves by actually believing In their own misdirection, to be humiliated, because democratic people kept their eye on what mattered.
