@benjaminwittes Haven't wanted to say anything on Twitter and jinx it, but I'm not getting ads any more. I've been blocking them off and on for months, much more on in the past week, and now they're gone.

@lindam @benjaminwittes i went last night on Duck Duck Go and had more ads than ever, for companies I've never heard of. Just looked again, and there are ads every 5 posts. Never seen anything like it.

@Bellison22 @benjaminwittes Don't know, but I also removed suggested topics and tweets from suggested topics and those are gone too. I'm only seeing tweets from the accounts I follow.

@lindam @benjaminwittes On Thursday on the bird site I started clicking on the "I don't like this ad" simply to see what ads would show up for advertising (Who is still advertising?). I was shocked when ads disappeared completely. I haven't seen a single ad for 4 days now. I didn't say anything about it because I didn't want the grand leader to know his $$$$ stream was broken.

@lindam @benjaminwittes The other way to do it is to use the list feature. I never read my timeline - just lists or go directly to profile pages of people whose posting I value.
