Hello void.

Just arrived here with no idea how things work, but I'm always looking for #bookish people to chat to about all things #books #writing #childrensbooks #kidlit #YA #MG #literature #humour #middlegrade

So, if that's you, give me a shout

Would also love any tips from woollier mammoths

@RachelHamilton *waves* Children's Literature student at Roehampton here, children's bookshop owner and general lover of all things Kid Lit!
@RachelHamilton Hi Rachel, just getting used to the site too but I've already made some friends. I published a memoir last year (My Name is Philippa) and have been involved in producing science fiction magazines/fanzines for a long time. I recently published a magazine article on Greenwashing in the Fashion Industry and that was my first professional magazine publication! Looking forward to hearing other people's projects and interests
@RachelHamilton Hi! You may be interested in switching your account to the writing.exchange instance, where most of the pro writers I know hang out. If you’re new to Mastodon, it’s not as scary as it sounds, it just means it’s easier for you to browse posts from and interact with people who have chosen that instance, instead of a random global server. You can still follow and find people anywhere and vice versa.
@RachelHamilton Hello! I'm new here myself and struggling to find fellow #bookish people, so very nice to see you. #MG #kidlit author of The Train To Impossible Places series here
@RachelHamilton Hi Rachel. Bookish and a parent of enthusiastic small readers. Nice to meet you.
