@IngridHbn Ha, almost same kind of bringing up, tv-wise. Candy Candy was a tat too lovey-dovey romantic for me, though, but I remember watching some episodes as I loved this studio's version of Sans Famille (Alleen Op De Wereld/Nobody's Boy) and Heidi.

But my UTTER favourite was their version of Treasure Island (Takarajima), which had me glued to the TV every wednesday afternoon, some time in the '80s.

Their Long John Silver is still one of my favest versions. Sexy MF. (grin)

Concerning me liking #candycandy, I have three excuses: I was like 7 years old at the time, it was the ‘kitchy’ 80s & not much was on the television anyway😎
Now I have quite different kind of interests. Perhaps that’s a good thing. Not that it was a bad series, it was drawn professionally, but way too sweet and melodramatic. 💖

@IngridHbn I admit, on my nostalgia trip of getting Treasure Island, I also got Candy Candy, but I could not watch it. The others are still cool, to me.
