LindaMaeTX@alireza @mikemadrid Alireza, I also joined because of Mike. But it can be hard to build your feed. The Mastodon app doesn't show the full fediverse, only your local feed (instance/server you're on and people you plugged in that you know their handle, like I did with Mike). I suggest using another app and not Mastodon if you are using your phone so you can see the full fediverse. I'm trying out Metatext on an iPhone.

Does the phone app show the full Fediverse?
The Federated timeline is all the public posts from all the people being followed by the people on your instance.
I thought Search was the only way to see the full (public) Fediverse facilitated via hashtags. I could be mistaken.
@hinano @alireza On metatext I see 3 feeds/timelines. Home, which is my curated feed, Local, which is everyone on my instance, and federated which is a ton! Not sure who shows in federated, but it is a lot and definitely some unmoderated stuff (unwarned nudie pics) as the #twittermigration continues and mods try and keep up. I see toots from all kind of instances. I don't have many followers so I think it is everyone. Had to put in preferences to slow scroll- the speed of new toots is fast.
