I’m using these regularly. MetaText supports gifs via GIPHY and is the leader IMHO but there’s a new in testing called Mammoth. Also rumor is TapBots is coming it with one soon. There are also a few PWAs. But I suspect the official app will get a boost with the new hire.

johnkelly@roberto @shanselman yes please! Given twitter’s decision not to push ads through api, tapbots has made infinitely more money from me over the years than they have. I only really have had to hop to proper app for older thread history and polls.
