Finding an "edit" function on Mastodon during the great Twitter migration is like finding a really cute dress and happily shouting "it has pockets!". #Twitter #NewAccount #TwitterMigration
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm πŸ˜† You're right! Scored an Emporio Armani 100% silk purple & dark blue skirt for the princely sum of Β£18 fae Mr Ben's in Glasgow. This was my reaction on finding it had pockets πŸ˜‚

@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm are you experiencing 'not only do I multi-proofread before it is tooted I do it again after it's posted' syndrome as well?

If we form a group, I suspect it will be mostly writers and editors in some capacity πŸ˜„

@kaybee335 I am suffering from that, but alas, I may be the rare "neither a writer nor an editor" member. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm I had to write, read and review many technical documents while I was still working so I'm only a fringe member. πŸ˜„
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm where? Where?
@stephenrunning on android I have the 3 dots below my post on the right. Clicking those opens a menu with edit being an option!
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm aaah. Sadly I’m on iOS. I’ll look at it on desktop. Thanks anyway.
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm Where is it???? Have yet to find ...
@jennikeer I'm on android and when I look at one of my posts I can click in the 3 dots at the bottom right which opens a menu. Someone said they found it on the web version as well.
@Bad_Eyed_Bookworm Nope... Am I being stupid πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
@jennikeer I won't pretend to have all the answers - I'm new here (like so very many others). I am pretty sure *that* is not it though. I use the android app - but IOS may be different. I have also found it using a web browser. I have no idea if different servers/instances can have different options available. Maybe ask people who are on your local server/instance if they have come across it?
