tpovio@murshedz I started using that site in February, 2008. I’ve been thinking about the first people I followed, and how things were shiny new and fun back then. I’m trying to remember that when I’m integrating into communities here. This is an opportunity for people to cut ties with some of the most angry, miserable aspects of that site.

You're not going to be able to talk to them about CW if that view persists. Or as the admin of a journalist server said in an interview: "My first response, which I think is most journalists’ first response, was, “Who are these precious snowflakes?”"

We should all be careful NOT to inadvertently promote Trump by repeating/reposting his lies. Repeating lies, even to debunk them, can lead others to believe the lies.
Repetition cannot create TRUTH,
but repetition can create BELIEF.
That's why Trump & GOP keep repeating known lies.
Repeat something often enough, & even people who *know* better will start to doubt reality & believe the lies.
