Since Tuesday, I’ve started trying to do a new thing every day and I aim to keep it up for the next year.

I’ve been collecting ideas and they’re on a Trello board (but of course 🙃) 
More ideas will be added as they arrive.

It’s 23:10 in the UK and I just submitted a 250 word story to the NYC microfiction 24 hour challenge. You get given a genre, action and word that you have to use for the story and I got:
Genre: Horror
Action: Predicting something
Word: down

It’s not a super piece of work, and horror stories are too scary for me, but it is done, and hopefully creepy enough: https://www.nycmidnight.com/mfc250-upload-success-2022

I’m pretty sure it won’t get through to the next round of the competition, but the main thing was about giving it a go :)

11 jumpers!

Things I learnt from trying to wear a lot of jumpers in one go:
1. Strategy is important - start with thinner layers and work up to those chonky knits
2. The main defeating factor is arm immobility after 9 layers
3. The second main defeating factor is heat
4. It’s surprisingly anxiety-inducing trying to remove jumper number 11.
If you get stuck, you’ll need outside help

Though once you start panicking in a jumper, seconds feel very long
