Do you know what became of Hössler? Was he captured after the war?
@goettker Yes. Franz Hössler was captured by the Allies at the end of the war and charged with war crimes in the First Bergen-Belsen Trial. He was found guilty, and sentenced to death. He was executed by hanging at Hameln Prison in December 1945.
