Also, I love your username. I don't play the violin and I crochet but have a basic grasp on knitting. I do love violin and fiddle music. I know that's the same instrument, but I call it one thing for some kinds of music and the other for other kinds. 🙂

@MimzyDub Thanks!! Yeah, that’s totally fair to change what you call the instrument depending on context!

I was a crocheter long before I was a knitter, then had to switch primarily to knitting for a while due to repetitive stress injuries and my crocheting technique being *super* tight

@violinknitter I've had to losen mine uo as well. Sometimes my hands used to be so cramped afterwards that I couldn't do anything else for quite a while.
