@astrotemp hello!! What area are you doing your PhD on? (I'm still on my Masters, but one day soon I hope!)
@AstroBec ah Iām running simulations of black hole accretion disks these days, but previously did a bit of work with AGN jets as well - my science account is linked in my bio, although Iām less active there!
What are are you focussing in for your Masters (or will be for PhD)?
@astrotemp ooh I'll have to check that out, that sounds like so much fun too!! I'm torn between cosmology and exoplanets. Volunteered for Planet Hunters TESS and really enjoying classifying transits on there and my uni has some great research options for exoplanets too, so leaning towards that.
@AstroBec Exoplanets is a pretty hot field right now!
Let me know if you'd ever like a second set of eyes to look over your PhD apps! We have quite a big group of exoplanet people at my institution, although the UK is a long way to travel š¦
