I didn’t realize that the Dutch fought for their bike lanes. There’s a lot of history within this that I’m currently naive about but excited to learn!

@dariohudon sure there was a fight over bycicle lanes to use a Dutchism but we already had lots of bycicles to start with.

@dariohudon there is consensus on that. Two obvious explanations if I was the judge.: cheap way of travelling in combination with a flat country which makes cycling a viable option.
