#Mull is sometimes called "Eagle Island" and for good reason.

There are about 30 pairs of golden eagles here and up to 22 pairs of white-tailed eagles.

The latter are easier to see, and friends of mine operate a boat trip out to see them (Mull Charters) in action.

This is from one of their trips, and is of a white-tailed eagle changing direction quickly using its massive wings.

Majestic and awe-inspiring birds.

@petewalkden I sometimes see them from my garden, how lucky am I?

@mbl Same here, and very fortunate. I've also watched golden eagles from the garden. Not seen a brambling yet though from it!
