Dusty_the_nurse@hohum and why would they choose *not* to indict if they have the evidence? Surely it’s essentially important to show that no one - *not even a president* - is above the law (and certainly shouldn’t be allowed to be president again!)
@Dusty_the_nurse They risk alienating and pissing off half the country if they do. But they also face the same risks if they don’t by pissing off and alienating the other half of the country. With that calculus, there’s only one thing to do. Follow the rule of law and indict him if there’s sufficient evidence to do so. Consequences be damned.
