#Adoptee folks, feel free to DM me with questions if you are here & struggling to figure out how Mastodon works. I'm hardly an expert on everything Fediverse, but I'd like to think I've got most of the fundamentals for Mastodon down.

@jaded_jouska my most useful tip was to switch to metatext for iOS or tusky for android rather than mastodon mobile app 👍🏻

@tompsy Yes! I understand why the "official" Mastodon app was rushed into place, but frankly it's going to keep scaring people away if they download it & find it's incomplete/buggy. Third party apps are still, at least as of right now, the best way to access Mastodon on mobile hardware.
