In the mountains near the DMZ in South Korea. The buildings in the distance are part of the US Army's Camp Casey, once home to the US 2nd Infantry Division. It's now a base for a small US artillery unit. The rest of the force has moved south to Camp Humphrey, the largest US military base outside of North America. The town here is called Dongducheon, and has a colorful and also dark history as one of the largest "camp towns" around US bases in Korea. Photo taken on my last trip to Korea in 2018.
