Are you #ActuallyAutistic? Let me know so I can give you a follow.
@amberlynwhite definitely ND, my diagnosed Autistic 17 yr old son keeps telling me I am autistic but currently I’m suffering from imposter syndrome 😂
@Jenfeds1073 I completely understand how you feel. That’s something I struggled with for a long time. If you don’t mind me sharing, a tip that really helped me was to make a list of all the times I struggled before I knew what the words Autism’ or ‘Neurodiverse’ were. There’s no way you could have been doing anything but behaving the way your brain meant you to at that time. You’re not an imposter and your struggles before you learned about neurodivergence can help validate that. 💜
@amberlynwhite thank you.
I think one of the best things I’ve heard is that NT people don’t wonder if they are autistic.
I just don’t want to take away from people who struggle much more than I
@Jenfeds1073 I understand where you’re coming from with that as well. Though I do want to remind you that it’s completely okay to take what you need from life and what that looks for you may look different for someone else, as long as it’s serving your mental health and life positively.
