@megara @ameredith I’m still on the official app but I go to the website for a lot of things. I have iOS and haven’t experimented with anything else. I feel like we could use someone just to volunteer to answer #MastodonTips questions, lol. I’ve only been here for a week. Are there any #VeteranMastodonUsers here that we can tag?

@megara @Katie I just switched to the Metatext app as well. Much better and you get the federated timeline instead of just your local server & whoever you follow

@megara thank you for asking this, I have purple and blue, blue looks like a web page, but I can edit posts and view other timelines or whatever, purple looks more like Twitter and I can post gifs but I only have "home" and if I have both open I get double push notifications.

@megara If you’re around a computer, the web interface at deacon.social has been pretty easy to figure out. The Mastodon app has been OK for casual usage for me, but not so much for anything beyond the absolute basics.
