I am sorry I have not been active on this account. Have been VERY busy setting up the disabled.social instance.
The server grew much faster than anticipated, and so we have been hard at work trying to manage the server aspects and such.
We already need to scale it up, which will be happening tomorrow at 7 AM EST. The disabled.social instance will be unavailable at that time.
Thought I would also make the announcement here, since a lot of you follow me on this instance.
Last night and into today, we had a massive influx of people. So large, that we had to completely suspend registrations last night to clear out the log.
We are letting people queue up today, and then we will admit them to disabled.social tomorrow AFTER the server has been resized and is stabilized.
@PanickedFoodie I’d deffo take a peek. Is this more for patients or professionals?… or both?
I wonder if you can use something like an internal blue-tick system? Eg, “certified gastro medic” but make it clear that all advice should be taken with a grain of salt?
