Matthew Bloch@danielbye @mjg59 put it well - Twitter's engineering problems are harder than landing a rocket on the moon - and ground control have just walked out.
You can't just hire a bunch of people with that xp to rescue a site like Twitter (and Musk definitely can't). Everything is special sauce that needs a handover and long run-in for new engineers. This is madness without precedent.
If he finds the right few hundred ex-engineer, begs & quadruples their salaries, it might live?
