I kinda like the idea of moving to a Canadian focused server before migrating becomes onerous.
hubick@wanless Yeah, I had been on the "online" instance since April, but when I saw the mstdn.ca instance I immediately bit the bullet, cut over, and deleted the old one. The local feed feels much more like a community now.
If you do it, the migration instructions and alias thing moves your followers over to follow your new account, but don't forget to manually export who you follow.
@hubick Yeah I have read that export instruction piece a few times.
