No, this is not actually Twitter HQ (it's the former Pittsburgh Post Gazette). No, I do not think the Twitter implosion is funny, it makes me sad for a million reasons. However the best Twitter humor was about things that make you sad, so I guess this is my send-off until one day I'm photographing the real thing
@AbandonedAmerica I'm really sorry to hear how upsetting it is right now. I was fortunate to engage in most of my grieving a few weeks ago, but it's still horrifying, if ridiculous, to see it happening like this
@nixkelley I am still pretty angry, sad, and frustrated by it, and probably will be for a while, but I'm doing my best to keep focused on other things. For the most part. After 11PM all bets are off!
@AbandonedAmerica We made Twitter what it is today… us! Not the CEOs. I was there since 2009 and I am upset too. But we all grieve in our own way and it’s all good.
@VanessaSarges I agree, it was the user base that made it worth spending time on. I hope most of the people I followed for news and education make it over here. But being a digital nomad sucks when it impacts your work and income
