It's weird -- Mastodon seems to be running slow because everyone is fleeing Twitter, and Twitter is also running slow because nobody is working there and they're locked out of their offices

@Robotbeat I think some of the bigger servers here are having a bit influx of folks again that is slowing things down. Nothing catastrophic, or even to complain about, more just filed under "growing pains."

@drskyskull I'm pretty sure that's not how that works. Twitter won't go slower because nobody is working there. It's automated so it'll run regardless if anyone even exists (for a while).
