I reread it every few years. The first two sections are the best. If you like it, I recommend following it with American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America by Colin Woodard

To counter the white-centric bias in both, I recommend also reading some of the People's History books like An African American and Latinx History of the United States by Paul Ortiz.
