A Danish journalist was stopped by Qatari authorities today while broadcasting live for TV 2 News. The authorities repeatedly threatened to smash his camera if he didn’t stop filming.

@Lenzi I don't think authoritarian regimes are ever truly ready for the deluge of free press that comes with major international events. Egypt is learning the same thing right now with the climate conference.
