Since I'm not the only one new here, I'm wondering what other newcomers have found useful in their first encounters with Mastodon.

@sandyguti New here myself.

I spent a while doing searches for things that interest me. I found lots of good people to follow and if your server has been updated to v4 you can also follow #Hashtags which is a real game changer imho.

But take your time. There is no rush :)

@Urbane_doc4kids That's how it's been for me as well; I've had to do a ton of research just to get the hang of it and honestly I'm not there yet. I'm just counting on what everyone says: that after the steep learning curve, this is a good place to be. We'll see!
