Poll showing largest ever shift to Brexit was a mistake.
@centralbylines people finally waking up it seems.
@centralbylines about time! I think the pandemic, Russia/Ukraine war, cost of living crisis and the Tories making a big mess must have won people over..finally!
@Worried @centralbylines it’s too late though. The damage is already done. It will take a generation to put right this mess and perhaps even longer. The divisions will remain in the uk for years to come
@Tridley16 @centralbylines yes they will…sad to see 😕

@Tridley16 The damage done by Brexit is permanent. We will never catch up the lost opportunities, the lost progress. We will never regain the lost business earnings. We won’t undo the pain some have experienced. Those arguing that we can catch up, miss the reality that any progress we make could have been made from a higher starting point, which would have left us further ahead.

All we can do now is to minimise how much further behind we fall. And that’s well worth striving for.

@centralbylines Ambiguity alert! On first reading, I thought it meant there was a shift towards Brexit, and the poll was a mistake.

@centralbylines

64% Brexit wrong: 36% Brexit right (excluding Don’t knows)

@centralbylines who are the 32% incredibly hard of thinking. Shame we won't get back in for decades if ever. The thick won something, try getting them to explain what though.
@centralbylines and 15% of those supposedly sitting on the fence now think it's a bad ideas but would never admit it to a pollster
