It's appealing to declare, "Trump's done."

Don't.

Many of his ardent followers still support him and he had very little GOP support going into the 2016 race.

BUT #Trump has lost the ability to be the new guy and outsider. Now he's the establishment who failed to achieve the changes he promised his base.

Big picture: Two years is forever in politics. Any predictions and hot takes you see now are less than speculation. They're fantasy and clickbait. Don't believe the hype.

@Sheril Ah but the beguiled are so willing… or are they still? Now isn’t the time to let down your guard.
And all y’all they re going to firehouse you with crap.🤨
Be wary🇺🇸
@Sheril also, maybe we can stop -- for a while, maybe a year (???) twitching every time a poll tells us to twitch?

@Sheril
I'm gritting my teeth for six more years of insanity.

I'd have more confidence in the Democrats if they didn't *consistently* bring safety scissors to a knife fight (while the Repugnants bring flame throwers).

I feel like Rome is burning again, and there's little to do but break bread by the fire and hope for the best.

At least we had almost two years of relative sanity.

@Sheril
As a 'laughing stock' last time, be had no headwinds. That's clearly not true today.
@Sheril I disagree. Who Trump is in 2016 is much different than who he is in 2022. And it's time to start normalizing ridiculing the hell out of him and being fearless and ruthless about laughing in his face and revealing what a has-been gasbag he is. He WANTS us to be afraid. But being afraid is surrendering to a bully. And we are stronger than that. Besides he and Ron DeSantis are going to duke it out. It's Ron I'm more worried about, quite frankly.
@Sheril im hoping Trump Vs Desantis splits the republican vote 🙏
@Sheril Yeah but in 2016 he hadn't organised a coup d’état on the capital
@Sheril I’m still in the percentage that believes he’s going to be in prison by 2024. If he’s not, why even have laws?
