@BetoCastro get off the mastodon app if you’re using it, first off. Metatext is a good alternative (for iPhone at least). Each post is called a toot (you can switch that in your profile!) and each server is like it’s own little city (local feed) with its own set of rules. Servers are connected and you’ll see posts from outside your server, if that connection exists, in the federated TL. Your own timeline (name escapes me) are toots from those you’ve followed as well as your own.
