DrewStargate slow rewatch (first since originally on) gets to end of season 4. Still loving the series, and glad the old dvds are so cheap on eBay. #Stargate
The War Llama@drewb It's a great show. I think the cast changes towards the end of the season help it to avoid *completely* outstaying its welcome, but it does feel stretched a little thin by the end.
@thewarllama looking forward to watching the spin off series which I have never seen, when we get to that point, season 8 I think.
@drewb Atlantis? I remember very little about it and never finished it. That's probably a very damning review. Universe was fabulous though... just a shame it got cancelled 2 seasons in.

PieMan70@thewarllama @drewb Atlantis took a bit longer to find its feet and did have a slight feel of SG1 but with different people but they had fun with it. Totally agree without Universe, very different show but well worth your time. Stargate usually doesn’t get the respect of something like B5 or BSG because it was never ground breaking but did what it did well and was a great balance of arc/lore and episodic
