As much as we all hate "the algorithm," it sure was excellent at sorting through all of the bullshit online and giving us exactly what we wanted to see (for better or for worse). 🤷🏻‍♂️

Initial turnoff from Mastodon is the sense of being overwhelmed by the lack of boundaries or guidance. Any suggestions for curating content?

@AndyruAround hello fellow MSW! As others have said, it’s the hashtags in your toots for sure. Following people who give you good vibes / are interesting. Engaging with folks with similar interests and values. I would also recommend making a #introductions post and within that, hashtagging your key interests so folks can find you. Often those with similar interests will reblog your intro and get you in front of more folks. We curate our feeds by who we follow!
