OTI (Out to Innovate, formerly NOGLSTP, the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals) seem like good folks, they are a parent organization of the Rainbow Lorikeets, the American Ornithological Society's queer caucus (for which I'm currently Chair)

I don’t anything beyond the solicitation page unfortunately, but it says “There is no age or citizenship restriction on eligibility for this fellowship,however, funds must be disbursed only to persons or institutions with US bank accounts or Zelle or PayPal accounts.”

I’m happy to reach out to OTI folks for clarification if you have questions about that though!

@stevenlosco @queerornithology hoping this is because you’re looking for PhD positions, not that you are unable to apply for other reasons!

My pie-in-the-sky dream goal is finding a way to create a grant for trans, gender non-conforming, and/or intersex folks to get monetary support like this regardless of career stage but also, critically, independent of “research” or “career” need. I’m great at getting research cash, but falling into debt accessing gender-affirming care and legal changes!
