Hey Mastodon-Bubble: am I just stupid or is there really no possibility to create lists? Found this feature extremely useful to sort topics instead of following thousands and having to scroll through the whole timeline to find specific info...

@JuttaPaulus

1. You are not stupid.
2. You CAN create lists. Just the 'official' app doesn't support it. In the browser interface and in the fedilab or tusky apps it's no problem. I use lists extensively.

@elvira_rosert

@docjosiahboone @JuttaPaulus @elvira_rosert In Tusky only possible to add users to a list you already FOLLOW!
At Twitter I use *a lot* Lists to follow without having all content in my Timeline (Timeline woud be unusable!).
AND! At Twitter I can create PRIVATE Lists, so Users don't see, who's on my lists!
A very useful function.
@Fotobiene @docjosiahboone @JuttaPaulus @elvira_rosert Lists on Mastodon are always private. I have seen people mention creating a "home" list instead of the normal "home" feed that can become to large.
@rstub @docjosiahboone @JuttaPaulus @elvira_rosert Yes, thanks. But I can only put users on my list that I follow, means: I can't "follow" users quietly/hidden via a private list, as I can at Twitter.
@Fotobiene @docjosiahboone @JuttaPaulus @elvira_rosert Indeed. Alternative would be to use RSS: [domain]/@[account].rss

@rstub @docjosiahboone @JuttaPaulus @elvira_rosert Oder ein Zweitaccount, der nur horcht. Solche Follower gibt es auch bei mir auf Twitter.
