Saying good morning with a #painting. Carrick-on-Shannon. I visit this spot most years but the painting came out of my time when I was on a bicycle, stopped on the bridge just looking and absorbing this corner of #Ireland, which is usually very lively, even if I did leave people and cars out.

@Marvandin Thank you. I think there's certainly a lot of sameness to many towns in Ireland - and once upon a time so many of them were very grey, but at some point we started painting them so now on grey days rather than blend into the weather they blaze away.
