making a piece from a #starTrek episode about voices without bodies - minds borrowing and perhaps destroying bodies - love between and without bodies... trying to decide when and whether to put recorded singing in it! I think the state of the art in generated singing may be a little shy of useful... on the other hand my singing...
@Ricardus No the original - "Return to Tomorrow" - I've just about set it all to music and have a #supercollider project that plays it back through a circular speaker array and flashes some stills up - a little like a cross between #StarTrek and #LaJetee...
@semiquaver Ah yes, the Sargon ep. I was thinking of the ep where energy beings took over Troi, Data, and O'Brien's bodies.
@Ricardus For Sargon I'm just using some fancy #vocoder #fft patches (using #cepstral analysis!) but trying to figure out how to do voices for the ppl!
@Ricardus if I could drive #vocaloid from #supercollider....
@Ricardus looks like #vocaloid stores project files in #yaml - #supercollider should be able to generate these programatically.... hmmm
@semiquaver Can't wait to find out.
