So my bubble here starts thinking about governance, decision making and accountability in Mastodon.

I'm sure we're not the only ones. What else is out there? Who's talking / thinking / writing about this?

@anneroth Moderation is getting a lot of activity at present, but I am not sure that is the same as discussing governance, decision making, and accountability.

In that people seem most concerned about the application, or not, of CWs and getting others to conform to their preferred moral norms. Few seem to be, or even be willing to, deliberate the basis of their moderation preference.
