A little bit of a #Sunday discussion. Is there a #book that you read as a child that has stuck with you as an adult?

We'll start! I used to LOVE a book called Chartbreak by Gillian Cross. I'm not sure I would necessarily Coming of age, about 17 year old Finch who goes to a motorway cafe and meets a band. She joins them as singer and oh, how I loved reading about band life and the references to Smash Hits magazine!

How about you?

Another book I loved as a child and often come back to is Hacker by the magnificent Malorie Blackman. It was SO exciting, Victoria was brilliant and clever and my heart hurt for her when she was blamed for something she didn't do, and in parallel seeking to clear her father's name. Victoria is also adopted and the story also navigates Victoria's feelings that she doesn't quite belong. Absolutely brilliant.
