Helen Lockhart Ripples Crafts

Happy with how this is progressing, but very unhappy with how utterly impossible the colour is to capture! The main colour is peacock blue, not the wishy washy peely-wally blue in the picture.

Pattern is Avena by Jennifer Steinglass.

@HelenLockhart I have found tricky colours sometimes register better if you have some of the complementary colour in the shot. You can always crop it out before sharing if it offends you!

@virtuosew To be honest I've tried every scenario to capture this colour, with no success. I can't even adjust it in post production to look correct. I photograph yarns all the time for my website, but this blue ...... it defeats me.

@HelenLockhart Could you try putting a reddish terracotta ribbon in the shot?
