I brought this guy down to the rehearsal space yesterday. Despite the fact that (or probably due to the fact that) it's old enough to not function properly and wheezes like it has emphysema, it features on a lot of the recordings I've done. If you have any unlikely gear heroes, I'd love to hear about them

@iotar East Germany I think. Commie-era for sure, but i'd hesitate to date it more precisely than that. Probably pre-80s. the things has been around.

@GregNieuws i have a crappy old casiotone mt-100... with the 'FUNNY' voice on, it gets smuggled onto almost every tune!

@GregNieuws It's East German, 1970ies/early 80ties. I own the smaller version of this with less registers. It's a Harmonium from the small town of Klingenthal, famous for Akkordeon and Harmonica/Harp production. Sounds beautiful!
