Started the next Star Trek book on tape in my recently acquired collection, Probe. I decided to listen to them chronologically based on when the book takes place. The book takes place immediately after Star Trek IV, and so far focuses on worrying if the probe will come back, and the aftermath of the death of the Romulan Praetor. James Doohan does a wide range of character voices, and watching him voice the other members of the Enterprise is fun!

Btw, this my walkman I use for listening to tapes, WM-FS191 sports Walkman. It was my mother's, and still works great! I run it off a pair of rechargable AA batteries.

@drwho Do you have any memories attached to it? My mother talked about how she had to hold it while running, because it was too heavy to use the clip on her pants without them falling down!

@SaltVampire Same. I used to have it in the front pocket of my backpack with ear buds running out of it when I wore it. Definitely too heavy to wear.
