I like taking photos of paths, they're always a bit mysterious/spooky/intriguing #photography #path #trees #outdoors #nature
@JohnnyPixels
One of my woodland paths.
@JohnnyPixels There’s something special about paths through the woods, echoes of fairytales from childhood
@JohnnyPixels Very green. Was it taken in early summer? It looks inviting!
@T1Danna it was early August last year, near Sevenoaks in Kent. It was a very nice walk 🙂
@JohnnyPixels
My alternative walk home from the shops, up the hill and through the wood.
Photo: kissing gate entrance to woodland walk.
@JohnnyPixels I’d never really thought about it before but I also love a good path. A sole path through an otherwise unspoilt area that provides a sense of adventure leading to a destination. Makes a dog walks me much more interesting.
@JohnnyPixels * so much more interesting.
@JohnnyPixels a spring path with one of my dogs in the distance.

@JohnnyPixels@mstdn.

social pictures of paths. Great idea.

@jesscourtney @JohnnyPixels This is the stuff of dreams. Thank you for posting.
@Morri_Arty Thanks to my Dad for passing on his love of the place to me :)
@jesscourtney My family, especially my brother and mum, love this place. It's been many years since I visited but it pulls at the heartstrings. Stepping stones are magical.
@JohnnyPixels Love a good path. I wholeheartedly recommend Alan Moore’s ‘Voice Of Fire’ for a mysterious, murderous path through time and alternative British history, or Julian “Reward” Cope’s ‘The Modern Antiquarian’ to find ancient paths to walk in your spare time.
@damianlewis thank you, I shall have to take a look at these
@JohnnyPixels oooooh. I haven't looked at them that way before
@JohnnyPixels Great photograph. I find paths and small bridges irresistible.
@JohnnyPixels And it’s always interesting to see paths made by animals as they navigate from A to B.
@JohnnyPixels paths alway raise questions like "where do they go?" and "why are the trees all leaning over?"
