Decided to look at network stats again. There are 1M more people using #Mastodon today than there were on October 27.

@Gargron This is great. I feel like this time, there are more people tooting. I also find a lot of relevant content on the hashtags I follow.

How do you follow hashtags?

1. You can search for a hashtag, e.g. #OpenSource on the search interface (web)

Change the URL https://mastodon.online/tags/OpenSource with a hashtag of your choice.

2. If you are on the web interface, you can see the search results and an icon (person) next to "Back". Click it to follow the hashtag.

3. Now toots related to OpenSource will appear on your timeline.

What about when using the Android app?

@Strickalator @Gargron I have not found this feature on apps like Tusky.
