RoseMilady@ruud YES! (STILL haven’t figured out how to “dm” messages to my husband’s account/handle etc. (Duckduckgo’d it and everthing!)
@RoseMilady When composing a message, there should be an icon (depending on the app you use) most likely looking like a globe. When clicking that, you can select 'Direct' or 'Mentioned people only'. When selected, the message van only be read by the people mentioned in them.
@ruud so sorry, still struggling. I found the globe icon to compose message to (chosen account), yeah ok. But when I like and want to a post/toot/reblog a certain message, I still cannot find a way to shoot/toot/forward etc that one post to chosen recipient. So, that’s because of the app I use? Thank you for your time.
@RoseMilady Ahh no I don't think you can forward a post to someone. You can boost the post so all you followers see it. Or on web, click the three dot icon,select copy link to post. Send that link in DM to someone.
