This kind of smart, walkable, mixed-use urbanism is illegal to build in many American cities
@schratze feudalism can have a little urbanism,,,, as a treat
@schratze I was shocked to find they don't even have alleys sometimes so if you wanna cross to an adjacent street without trespassing (bc god knows whats gonna
happen, some yank can shoot you), you might need to walk up the whole street to an intersection, cross there, and then walk down the same amount on the other street
@schratze Rockefeller is one of the main reasons America is for gasoline cars excluding trains, bikes, walking, et cetera.

@schratze house placement is inefficient. They can dual purpose as walls and clumping together saves space. Log Camp could be closer to trees but it taking up farm placement. Mill too close to Town Centre, id get another farm in the middle.

Not an efficient city, don't think it's what you wanted , but satisfied my Age of Empires fix.

@schratze This made me nostalgic. I miss spending hours playing AoE as a kid.
@schratze Yeah, because it's a fire hazard. Fire engines need the "city block" style layout for houses and other buildings because of the limitations involved in getting from one building to another. Along those lines, the trees are too close to the buildings. Another problem is septic systems being too close to growing fields. Add to it that this could be a flood plain. There are all kinds of civil engineering problems presented by this type of layout.
