Today was a wild day on #Twitter

@taylorlorenz
I am hoping that Eli Lilly sues Twitter, and Biden's FTC investigates EM's international ties. He is clearly the inept, ruthless capitalist anyone could see from a mile away.

The worst part is that Twitter had become the preeminent home for authoritative voices across the world in a number of niches, channels, governments, and interests. This should be a wakeup call for anyone who seriously believes that anarchy is a good idea. People are better off reading a book these days.

@MattInCincy513 @taylorlorenz Don't know about Lilly but the FTC is watching it very closely and has stated that they're "deeply concerned". They don't fuck about. Twitter is already on a Consent Decree, and today, they missed filing a required report. You don't blow off the FTC like Elon does the SEC.
@nzlemming
I agree with you...Bankruptcy is a true possibility if the newly stated goal of 50% subscriptions doesn't materialize.
The government review cannot arrive soon enough.
So surreal on that app.
@MattInCincy513 It's crazy alright. And he can't say he wasn't warned. He's so out of touch with reality.
@MattInCincy513 @taylorlorenz lol what would Eli Lilly have to sue him over? It's the users who are responsible.

@MattInCincy513 @taylorlorenz

You... You... You're saying this on social media network that is anarchism in practice.

@Kichae
so people shouldn't talk about it, for fear that people are too dumb to know the difference between a discussion and encouragement. is that your point?

@MattInCincy513
How have you discussed it? You just raised the term, declared this to be a good example as to why anarchism bad, and done it in the most ironic way possible.

What was *your* point, exactly? What are *you* discussing? Because pretending you're contributing to some kind of discourse while just verbosely rolling your eyes isn't actually communicating anything of value.
