Continuing with #photography I got very into portraits, specifically playing with light, and again, doing as much IN camera as possible. Here are two friend's photos from that period (I'd checked at the time if I could share publicly)

At the time, I had 3 cheap chinese knockoff market speedlights, and a used canon 5d body that cost $500 at the time. There is zero editing in post, other than color correction, some contrast correction.

@alexkeeny youre gonna make me pull my old harddrive with all my college photos. Had a nikon d50 that I just shot soo much on. Bought one nice 35mm portrait lens that basically never came off.
@Luke Do it! I need to pull my camera back out again; it hasn’t seen much but dust since the fire.
@alex same, maybe we can do a photo-a-day thing for a stint. I don't have any software for editing anymore. When I've done a few headshots for friends/family for like work profiles, I just loaded them onto my iPhone and edited them (it actually worked well)
@Luke I haven’t done something like that for YEARS. I think maybe I could commit to a photo a week right now, though. Part of me wants to extra challenge myself to do it with no editing 🤔
@alex that sounds waaay more realistic :)
